Shanti Kirtan: Join Todd Glacy, Helena Nash Marni Prince and Jason Prince

Saturday April 5
Shanti Kirtan
6:00 - 8:00 pm

“Shanti means Peace. Only by creating peace within our own mind and helping others to do the same can we hope to achieve peace in this world.” ― Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Kirtan is a practice of community singing that helps to focus and quiet the mind, open the heart, establish connection and cultivate inner peace. The members of Shanti Kirtan (Todd Glacy, Helena Nash, Marni Prince and Jason Prince) offer a contemporary version of this ancient practice, inviting us into a safe, welcoming, and inclusive opportunity for all people to come together in conscious co-creative community and experience the joy, peace and connection that can arise through the sharing of music, movement, sound and stillness. We will sing inspiring mantras accompanied by live instruments in a call and response format. Immerse yourself in the universal energy of sound that contains a powerful healing vibration. All are welcome to come sing along or just listen.

Cost: $30
