Weekend with Tracy & Mitchel Bleier

Join us for a weekend of movement, story, connection, reflection, and intention. Join for a single session, pick and choose your sessions, or join us for the whole weekend.

Friday 6:30-8 p.m. Yoga’s Story is my Story with Mitchel

The mythology of yoga holds some of the richest stories in the world, and to know these stories is to unpack a whole world of meaning that is timeless and eternal and packed with wisdom you can turn to over and over again. Join masterful storyteller Mitchel Bleier as he shares and reveals the beauty behind yoga’s greatest stories.

Saturday 8:30-10 a.m. Poetry in Motion with Tracy

Poetry in Motion with Tracy Tracy crafts artful, innovative, fluid classes that reflect her deep study and reverence for our bodies’ ever-changing form, and she draws upon her love of language and poetry to help students connect with their own instinctive wisdom. Her classes are an invitation to focus deeply, and a gorgeous reminder of how you come to take care of yourself amidst the challenge of feeling so much. You will leave Tracy’s class feeling more present and prepared to do the things in your life that you love and enjoy.

Saturday 4-5:30 p.m. Yoga and Writing with Tracy

Join Tracy for a this creatively sweet rich afternoon that helps us reconnect and discover our inner artist. Like asana, writing is a way to access your gutsiest voice, your truest heart and your most alive work! We alternate yoga, readings, writing prompts, and conversation to generate newfound inspiration.

Sunday 8:30-10 a.m. Control Yourself with Mitchel

Control Yourself incorporates precise, tension-loaded movements that teaches you how to move your joints. You’ll learn how to do controlled articular rotations (CARs) to assess your joints, and then exercises to increase their range of motions. This class uses active stretching, which increases your mobility and teaches your muscles how to engage and relax. You’ll learn where your end ranges are for each joint, and what happens when a joint stops moving and the other parts take over. This workshop is great to help rehab injuries or prevent new ones, and compliment your yoga practice or other activities. This is appropriate for all levels and will challenge anyone while still being accessible for all.

Sunday 4-5:30 p.m. Core of Handstand with Mitchel

Part yoga practice, part core workout, part being upside down, and 100% fun The Core of Handstand is a class for anyone who is interested in learning what it takes to stand on your hands, and a large part of that is your core. This class explores a variety of fun and challenging ab exercises, shoulder and wrist openers, and tons of first hand experience and tips to get up in a handstand. All level of handstands welcome, from first time attempters to long time handstanders. There is no requirement to be able to hold a handstand in the middle of the room on your own. We will use the wall and work with partners.
