An event every month that begins at 7:00 pm on day First of the month, repeating until September 3, 2023
Sanctuary is a restorative ceremony space co-created by Andrew Forsthoefel, Sabra Saperstein, and featured guests. After a brief welcome and check-in round, participants are invited to lay down or find a posture of repose in which to settle their minds and bodies. Then, for the next hour or so, Andrew offers songs, chants, freestyle vocalizations, drumming, and silence while Sabra builds a flower mandala at the center of the circle. To close, participants are invited to bring their attention back to the group circle and, if they desire, offer a closing share (no sharing is required to participate). Please join us in this candlelit space of rest and reverence. Your presence is a gift.
When: First Sunday of the month at 7pm at the Good Medicine Studio, 231 York Street in Portland, ME.
Suggested donation: $15-30
