FULL: Daylong retreat: Cultivating Awareness and Wisdom with Alexis Santos and Susa Talan

February 29, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

This event is currently full with a waitlist.
In this daylong retreat, we’ll explore how awareness + wisdom can be cultivated in a natural yet whole-hearted way.

Awareness and wisdom are natural to the mind and they develop when we learn to attend skillfully to our experience. Through relaxing the body and mind, we can come to understand the effortless nature of being mindful. This natural awareness leads to the blossoming of wisdom and compassion.

This will be a day of silent sitting, walking, relational practice and discussion. No prior meditation experience necessary. All are welcome.

Please bring your own lunch + outdoor wear for walking outside, weather permitting. Meditation cushions and chairs are provided.

Visit opendoorportland.org/events for link to register.
