Yin helps soothe the parasympathetic nervous system to help us relax, both mentally and physically. Meditation, in conjunction with yin, helps reduce stress, anxiety, and promotes better sleep, can reduce blood pressure, supports our immunity, and increases energy. This class combines the power effects of Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and meditation to help us slow down from our busy lives, deeply relax and strengthen our connective tissues and fascia, and heal all aspects of being- mental, physical, and spiritual bodies. It Is an excellent way to practice self-care and express compassion and kindness to yourself.
