Belly Love

January 11, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

$145.00

Do you try to hide your belly?  Is it “off-limits” to touch? Are you tired of trying to make it smaller or firmer?  Do you wish you were curvier? How free do you feel in your body sensually and sexually?  Do you take time to play, be creative, rest, and follow your inner guidance?

If you suffer from a distorted body image, self-judgment, shame, feeling uptight and ill at ease in your own skin, it’s time to nurture your relationship with your sacred center.  Whether you are young, mature, menstruating or not, if you identify as female you can enhance your connection with yourself through attending to the messages your belly holds. Tap into the wisdom and pleasure that awaits your inquiry and attention.

The belly is your powerhouse of chi. It functions like a third brain, like the heart and head. It houses the second chakra, where issues related to digestion, sensuality, creativity, emotional steadiness, gender and sexuality all reside.  We will guide you in breath awareness, free form movement to music, forgiveness practice, meditation, journaling, visualization and conscious dialogue to help you access your most healing alliance with this center. We will share the story, acknowledge, appreciate (perhaps celebrate) all our bellies have experienced. We will end the workshop with a guided relaxation to help you integrate and ground.

Your guides, Laurie Freeman, LMT – a certified Arvigo Abdominal Massage Trainer and practitioner, owner of Ananda Healing Arts in Boscawen, NH, and Lisa Love, MSN, PMHCNS, BC – a therapist and transformational life coach, owner of MindfulGuidance – Coaching & Counseling in Brunswick, ME, will team up to co-facilitate this healing experience.  Both have a depth of personal and professional experience to help you dive as deeply as you need, safely.

Come immerse yourself in this transformative exploration of the sacred universe within.
